I had a great summer in Maui and San Diego. The only down side to the
summer was that I gained 20 pounds. I had lunch with my good friend Graham Richards and asked him what he does because the guy is 44 years old and has a 31″ waist. Graham told me some rules he lives by.
I have lost 13 pounds in 3 weeks following his rules, and here they are:
Do Not Eat:
- Sugar
- White flour (bread, pasta, bagel, tortilla)
- Fried foods
- Anything from a cow (Beef, Milk, cheese, sour cream, yogurt)
- Keep red meat intake to once/week
- Sodium nitrate (found in bacon, jerky, and hot dogs) Know carcinogen
- Aspertame (try xylitol) and all artificial sweeteners
- MSG (monosodium glutamate)
- Trans fats (anything that says hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated)
- Alcohol (save for the cheat day)

Cheat day? what’s that. It really sounds like a good plan. Says red meat once per week but also says nothing from a cow… can i have a small steak once a week?
Yes, a small steak once a week is fine.
What makes this do-able for me is making better choices on a daily basis.
I was eating steak 3-4 times a week, and having dessert with every meal.
I feel soooo much better, it is crazy. Let me know if you do it and how it works for you.

I agree with this because I did this and released some serious weight. I read it all in the book, Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You To Know, by Kevin Trudeau. There’s even a couple of chapters were he gives love to the mangosteen and the Super Juices.

Here’s another, even more sane, option. Stop eating meat altogether, it is not good for you, no matter what you’ve heard or read. Ditto for cheese, eggs, etc. I am 57 years old, and have lost 40lbs over the last 18 months by doing this. I went from a 36″ waist to a 32″ waist, and have much more energy as well. If you think being a vegan is weird (as most people do) try visiting a slaughterhouse, it may change your mind. Are you willing to kill what you eat? Most people aren’t. If you’re concerned about protein, there’s plenty available through most grains, beans, veggies and yes, even fruit! And eat more raw, as much s you can. Salads, fruit, sprouts (plenty of protein there too), it’s all good. Observe the animal Kingdom; who besides humans and their domesticated animals eat cooked food? The answer is none. Then look at cancer and heart disease rates among the animal kingdom – in the wild. It virtually doesn’t exist. Worth stopping and considering…plus it is a much more compassionate way to live. Even if you do not kill your own meat, someone does.
